On October 23, 2025, a delegation from the Guangdong Academicians Association visited the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The visit served as an important prelude to the upcoming 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Academicians Summit, and aimed to promote the establishment of the Greater Bay Area Technology Transfer and Commercialization Center for State Key Laboratories. This initiative seeks to facilitate precise matching between scientific research outcomes and industrial needs, accelerating the transformation of innovation into productive forces.

The delegation was led by Mr. Lu Yuhui, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Academicians Association, and was received by Dr. Lucia P.S. Liu, Associate Director of the State Key Laboratory, and Dr. Vincent Yung, Postdoctoral Fellow. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on technology commercialization, industrial resource matching, and future collaboration opportunities.
