On 23 October 2025, a delegation from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), led by Deputy Director Dr. Lu Jianhua, visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to foster academic exchange and deepen collaboration between the Mainland and Hong Kong.

The delegation met with CUHK Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dennis Lo and engaged in a roundtable discussion with representatives from various faculties and research units. Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology (SKLA), joined the meeting to share CUHK’s research achievements in agricultural biotechnology and SKLA’s contributions to national innovation and development.
