Prof Chye Mee-Len’s team has unveiled the molecular mechanisms that activate salt-induced adaptive changes in soybean, bringing hope in providing possible solutions for saline agriculture and offer new strategies to help plants combat soil salinity. The finding has recently published in the prestigious scientific journal The Plant Cell.
