A meeting and academic lecture (廣東省本科高校植物生產類專業教學指控委員會會議暨學術講座) was held in Zhaoqing University. Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology, delivered a talk on “Soybean Genome Research” at the conference, focusing on the research background, soybean germplasm genome biodiversity, assembly of high-quality wild soybean reference genomes, discover and study of important QTLs and genes. Indicating that the application of modern biotechnology can promote high-quality  agricultural development. And at the same time, he encouraged students to participate in the construction of the Northwest region and promote the economic development of the local agricultural industry.
