Seven scholars, Prof. He Junxian, Prof. Jiang Liwen, Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Prof. Zhong Silin, Prof. Chye Mee Len (HKU), Prof. Xiong Liming (HKBU) and Prof. Zhang Jianhua (HKBU) from State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology (CUHK) have been listed among the world’s top 2% of the most-cited scientists (single year citation category) by Stanford University. The ranking is based on the “updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators”, compiled and announced annually by a team of experts at Stanford University, USA, on single year citation category (until 1 Sep 2022).

SKLA Director Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Deputy Director Prof. Jiang Liwen, Prof. Chye Mee Len, Prof. Xiong Liming and Prof. Zhang Jianhua  have also been listed as the world’s top 2% of the most-cited scientists (career-long category) based on their career-long citation impact (until the end of 2021).

This ranking, considered the most prestigious worldwide, was prepared by a team of experts led by Prof. John IOANNIDIS of Stanford University.
