A four-member delegation from Jilin University visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 15 December.  Among the delegates are Prof. Li Yuanyuan, President of Jilin University and member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE); and Prof. Yu Jihong, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).  They met with CUHK senior members including Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor. CUHK and Jilin University renewed the collaboration agreement during the visit. The delegation next met with representatives of different units including Prof. Lam Hon-ming, Deputy Directors of State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology and Institute of Plant Molecular Biology and Agricultural Biotechnology.

Through the visits and relevant tours, the delegation deepened their understanding about the University and established closer links with CUHK members, paving the way for future collaboration developments with specific plans.
