Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Director of State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology, met the Uruguary delegation to discuss the current situation of bilateral trade and other cooperation in the fields of agriculture, livestock and fisheries and also Prof. Lam’s soybean research. The delegation from Uruguay include Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay, Ambassador of Uruguay to China, Uruguay Trade Officer, Executive Secretary, Uruguayan Chambers of Poultry Processors, and other representatives. Director of HKSAR Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene Department also participated in the meeting.
