Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology, visited Minqin, Gansu, from June 28 to July 2, 2026, for a five-day scientific research and field visit. During the visit, Prof. Lam engaged in in-depth technical exchanges with Prof. Zhang Guohong at the local salinization research station. They examined real-time monitoring data, evaluated the efficacy of existing remediation technologies, and collaborated with local experts to discuss the development of high-yield, high-productivity crop varieties to address local climatic challenges.
