USYD-CUHK SDGs Workshop: Partnership for Zero Hunger & Climate Change

The University of Sydney (USYD) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) organized a webinar to explore collaborations to tackle food security and climate change and promote sustainable agriculture. The event was hosted by the Sydney Institute of Agriculture (USYD) and the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology (CUHK). The webinar is relevance to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2 Zero Hunger, SDG 13 Climate Action, SDG 15 Life on Land, and SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being. Ten speakers from USYD and CUHK presented topics include crop genomics, sustainable legume production and application, emerging technologies in agriculture and environmental research, and soil resilience. The webinar aims to encourage constructive dialogues and build global partnership in sustainable development. More than 55 participants joined the event via Zoom.
