The ‘Jiangu Agricultural Study Tour’, jointly organized by the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology (SKLA), the College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture and the College of Agriculture of Yangzhou University, and the Hong Kong Big Education Platform, was held from August 10 to 14, 2025.

During the 5-day study tour, Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Director of SKLA, led students on a field visit to the soybean–ginkgo intercropping experimental field located in Tiaozini Wetland, Dongtai, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. This site is part of a collaborative research project between SKLA and the College of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, Yangzhou University, where Prof. Lam’s latest soybean research is actively conducted.

This meaningful exchange not only enhances students’ awareness of food security and environmental sustainability but also fosters cross-border friendships and appreciation of Chinese culture.
