Celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China – The Higher Education Sector of Hong Kong

Prof. Lam Hon-Ming, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Agrobiotechnology (SKLA), joined over 400 distinguished guests at the Hong Kong Higher Education Sector’s National Day Celebration Dinner, commemorating the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The event was graced by senior officials including Secretary for Justice Mr. Paul Lam, Director of the Education, Science and Technology Department of the Liaison Office Prof. Wang Weiming, Secretary for Education Dr. Choi Yuk-lin, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Prof. Sun Dong, and Deputy Director of the Basic Law Committee Prof. Wong Yuk-shan.
Prof. Lam’s presence reflects SKLA’s continued commitment to advancing research excellence and contributing to national development through education and innovation.
The Hong Kong Higher Education Sector’s Celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China was officiated by Secretary for Justice Mr. Paul Lam, Director of the Education, Science and Technology Department of the Liaison Office Prof. Wang Weiming, Secretary for Education Dr. Choi Yuk-lin, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Prof. Sun Dong, and Deputy Director of the Basic Law Committee Prof. Wong Yuk-shan. Approximately 400 distinguished guests attended the dinner, including university council chairs, presidents, vice presidents, deans, professors, and administrative staff from Hong Kong’s higher education institutions.
